Mustang Steering Rack to Volvo 240 Mounting Bracket

This bracket allows an SN95 rack to be bolted to a 240 engine crossmember. The photos show the rack mounted as tight to the crossmember as possible and utilizes existing holes to locate it. I trimmed up to the weld on the crossmember for this setup. There’s a small notch added to assist in centering. This bracket can also be slid back and the steering rack mounted in front.

• Recommend using a Mustang II mounting kit.
• Recommend using Grade 10.9 Hardware and adding 2 more mounting points.
• The intermediate shaft and associated universal joints are available through Borgeson and other suppliers.
• Utilize shortened Mustang tie rods for a OEM level solution.
